Harat comes back to Al Fateh, ex Al Shamal

Mohamed Harat

Al Fateh Al Hasa (SBL) added to their roster 31-year old Algerian international forward Mohamed Harat (198cm) for new 2021-22 season. It is actually his comeback to Al Hasa as he has played here before. Harat played recently with Al Shamal Qatari Club in GCC. He ended the last season at Le Doyen in Algeria league where in only one Basketball Africa League game he recorded very impressive stats: 28 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. But the most of that year he spent at Al Fateh in Saudi Arabian SBL. In 15 games he was league's third best scorer with remarkable 29.1ppg and had 17.1rpg (leader !!!), 4.4apg (top 5) and 1.4spg.
Harat has been also a member of Algerian international program for some years. He has regularly played for Algerian senior team since 2011 and previously for U18 National Team in 2008.
Harat represented Algeria at the Afrobasket Championships in Rades (Tunisia) six years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 16.9ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 57.6%, FT: 67.7%.
He has played also professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama) and Morocco.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won Algerian League championship title in 2009, 2012 and 2018. Harat was voted to Afrobasket.com All-African Champions Cup 1st Team back in 2017.
